Description of the Mikroökonomen podcast and a list of episodes I've participated in.


The Mikroökonomen podcast emerged in May 2016 from the feeling and observation that too little is said about economics in Germany. Everyone has an opinion, of course, but aside from the feeling that something is going wrong here, little substantive debate has taken place and continues to take place. Reports about the financial system and the economy proliferate when the anniversary of a financial crisis is approaching, the bankruptcy of a major employer is looming, or thousands of investors have sunk their money into obscure financial investments on the grey capital market. We are not interested in the news, but in what is behind the news.
